In Need of Care

Aaron Standage as Nobby & Yasmin Bryant as Rita

Four Actors, just one act

The curtain goes up at The Kilshawe Theatre in Deal tonight (Thursday) on the latest production from the Guild Players. Four teenagers take the only roles in the three-night run (Editor's Note: It was a two-night run) for In Need of Care, a one-act play written by David E. Rowley. Simon Tester, Aarron Standage, Yasmin Bryant, and Kirsty Langley take the parts and the play is set in a semi-derelict farm outbuilding. Director Justine Sewell said: "This particular morning they discover something in the outbuilding that tests their friendship, teaches them about life, loyalty and emotions beyond that of their own worlds". "The young actors tell this story with feeling and sensitivity, portraying the varying lives of these teenagers. In Need of Care can be seen at The Kilshawe Theatre, St George's Hall, High Street, Deal, at 7:30pm." The Guild Players are presenting the production with a meal and a band.
